April started training in Goshinkan-Ryu JuJitsu in 2006. After training for seven years under Shihan K.D. Lintott Renshi, she was invited to grade for Shodan in May 19, 2013. Sensei April is the Head Instructor in all programs held at the Red Deer dojo.

Sensei April was a director for the Alberta Jiu-Jitsu Association for many years and currently is the AJJA Administrative Assistant. She has dedicated hundreds of hours monthly for the AJJA and the GMA Dojo.

Sensei April is a driven instructor teaching the Adult, Junior Shogun™ and Little Samurai™ programs. She specializes in teaching the Persuader Key Chain™ Holder classes to groups of all ages.
